Nope. I don't care if he was sitting president on the 7th. He attacked the Capitol to overturn an election. He should have immediately been IN JAIL and finished out his term (and life) there.

*January 7th, 2021 when it became clear that Trump WASN'T in jail.

"All". Not "Some", "All".

Yeah... he said he was gonna be a dictator on day 1. No back-tracking or "misspeaking" can cover up that slip where his plan was for an instant laid completely bare.

He should have been immediately removed from the ballots after that (hell, he should have already been in jail until the J6 trial was over), but the USA didn't care enough to stop him.

Won't. Not "can't", "won't". Congress absolutely COULD stop him, TODAY, if they wanted to.

They don't want to.

It was already too late on January 20th 2025.

It was too late on January 7th 2021, once it was clear he wasn't going to be in a cell by the end of the day.

No, we don't need the ones who have been cheerfully stabbing us in the back, side, and front for near a decade now. They have FA and it's time to FO.

The country isn't in "critical condition", it's dead. Whatever comes next? However the country goes forward? We've reached and crossed the "New Constitution required" line because the existing one as sure as fuck been publicly torched about 50 'lines' back.

It is not Harris' fault that a Dictator is being a Dictator. It is not Harris' fault that millions and millions of Americans were TOO STUPID to show up and vote against the dictator.

It is NOT Harris' fault that people were purity testing her vs "I will be a Dictator on day 1" and somehow found her wanting.

That's on the American people.

"Democracy" in the USA is already dead. Let's see if it falls totally into Dictatorship or can be brought into ACTUAL Democracy.

Now THERE's a job with some serious ups and downs.

Ignorance doesn't mean they are free of the consequences of their actions, or that they aren't responsible.

"The people" allowed him to get back in office, either by voting for him or standing aside. I disagree with your assertation.

So... yeah, every day sounds pretty good.

Oh no, the Nazis might hate all poor people, but there are DEFINITELY some poor people they hate more than others.

"They" as "All the people who voted Republican", "All the people who didn't vote", and "All the people who protest voted because Kamala wasn't hard enough on Israel".

That's a cool 65% of the adults in the country at minimum. It's a pretty damning indictment.

Up until Trump says the words "Official Acts", and Roberts blinks and thinks "Oh FUCK"

They're trying to secure their absolute power quickly because they know the longer they take, the more likely organized resistance is to form.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think that will be "the end of NATO". I think it'll be the unofficial end of the USA's time in NATO, which will then be made official after Russia is dealt with.

More than two thirds. The Trumpists agree with Trump burning down the country, no matter what they say to the contrary. They had the chance to vote against him or abstain, knowing what he was like. They did not.

All the ones who didn't vote also agree through apathy. They could have all voted Mickey Mouse in "protest", and the Disney character would have won 281 electoral votes.

And then? Martial Law and Trump smugly uses the "You and what army? Here's mine!" loophole.
