Could be possible... These are my cats. The older one on the left accepted the new family member within a week and they are now very good friends .

Valentines day always makes me feel sad. My dad died on this day - of heart failure.
Semester in swedish means holiday.
Poor eyesight? My old mom has severe cataract and can't see anything except a tiny field straight forward.
