I also poured glass out of leftovers. It was easier to eat out of a dumpster than trust some of the food given. The easiest way to ensure something not terrible was when people spared their leftovers from some restaurants and even then, we had to be careful. Sometimes the staff would try to poison leftovers with consent if they knew we were outside.
I've seen a pregnant woman denied care because the staph infection in her leg hadn't reached the baby and she had no insurance. I've personally helped pull out a birth control device from someones arm, because the doctor that had put it in was from another state so they couldn't "prove" it was there while it was two years overdue for removal. Same girl ended up not being able to get another device put in because there was no proof that "the old one was removed".
The family I'm with is refusing to leave and I have no income. I physically cannot travel alone. This is good information to have though and I encourage others to research as well
I'm right there with. Gay, NB, Disabled, Woman. Everything they hate and fear. I'm in the countryside right now, so me and the family I'm boarding with are not directly in their line of fire ... Yet. My hosts are Jewish (does not mean they support Genocide) so we'll see how long we can go on for
Pretty sure LA went through way worse and more violent protests in the past. You know, like historically.

Considering how the show runs, that's not an unfair comparison.
For DECADES I had doctors telling me there was nothing wrong with me. I had to literally bully, scream, and kick the system. I still don't have a diagnosis, but I at least have a doctor (a geneticist!) that admitted that not only something was wrong with me but also that my symptoms were not unheard of. Even if you don't feel disabled, advocate for yourself now.
Most people don't want others to kill themselves. It's not easy watching someone destroy themselves, even if you don't know or even care about them. They made a POS that you feel empathy for. Because innately, people are empathetic.
So why did you block the other user?

That's not true, but much appreciated always! Money is great for living. I just also know that a lot of buskers (including myself!) also appreciate compliments or sharing a quick word or two
