I have - and at a fast food pizza place - and while I think most of us didn’t give a shit about the company, we’d never deliberately do anything to make anyone sick

There isn’t a problem with the contents of that tub, it’s the outside. That yup will get picked up and put on something - a food prep surface where they make the pizzas or maybe a fridge shelf where other food/prep containers that WILL go on a prep station are stored

It’s just dries spices, tomato purée, and water before mixing. Shipping tomato purée and then adding water is way cheaper than shipping full tomatoes or sauce

Yes, but you can use one without putting the bucket directly on the ground. We used a big bin on casters that wheeled around so never touched a food surface.

But the parts of that mixer that are on the ground don’t then go on the counter.

Then you’re just trading a health violation for a worker’s safety violation. That drill needs two hands so you can’t stand on a stool and have three points of contact.

So I worked at another fast food pizza place that made sauce like this with this kind of drill BUT we made it in these huge tubs on wheels that looked like garbage bins on casters. The bottom of the bin didn’t touch the floor nor did it touch the counter. We wheeled around the bins and used big ass ladles to fill prep containers for the table. The bins were detachable from the wheels for cleaning. That’s how you do this properly. I’m 100% sure someone in that franchise isn’t following procedure.

#1 we have ALL seen 100 virtually identical videos. How is it possible people still think that jumping over these is an intelligent thing to do??

This is so old that Kid’s probably 25 by now

The question is - will it be fine long term. I spilled water on my laptop keyboard once; it died 18 months later and when I took it apart it was rusted inside.

I can’t believe he stayed that chill. I would have flipped my shit - especially because she was making it out like he was the idiot.

How distracted do you have to be to not see THAT

They changed lanes and went through the water on purpose. None of the other cars did.

I really hope that’s not true. Someone could legitimately be killed or seriously injured

Guessing by the colouring it blends in to the background. You could hear when that guy started breaking but it was way too late by the time he saw it. The bar should be painted bright yellow.

Three point turn.

#5 isn’t even a little funny. It’s not even that idiotic, he was just inexperienced and tried to lift too much. Near-miss on paralysis, but major surgery.

I used to work for a gym (trainer) and this kind of stuff happens more than you’d think. A safety instruction should be required for every new gym member.

Much more so in the US where civil forfeiture laws are so broad - police forces confiscate all kinds of vehicles all the time so unmarked police cars, or “ghost cars,” can be anything and are very cost effective.

School busses have stop signs and flashing red lights (look at the top of the bus). When the sign is out/lights are flashing it’s illegal to pass the bus on either side of the road. This is because kids often cross the road after getting off the bush and an oncoming driver would most likely not see them until it’s too late. It’s a big no-no and super dangerous because kids are so unpredictable (and may or may not have mastered the whole “look both ways before crossing” thing)

Or are exhausted and so shouldn’t be driving anyway.

Gassing up a car is not something that is usually covered in Driver’s Ed. Thinking about it, it’s probably something that should be.

It’s likely the flap. It’s equally likely she didn’t know that and is used to it just shutting off by itself when the tank is full. This is why some places do not allow you to pump your own gas.

A lot of these on here could go in “and this is why we have this safety regulation” textbooks

It’s not just that it’s the thighs too. All of that hurt a fuck ton

That’s because in the US it’s a little moot to have gun controls in any area when you just have to drive one state over and it’s a free-for-all. There’s no point in “gun-free” zones in a country with more guns than people.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More or less the same kinds of restrictions that most places have for people who want to drive cars, because a car in the hands of someone incompetent/untrained/with malicious intent is also a deadly weapon

Background checks, training requirements/licensing, restrictions on magazine/clip sizes, restrictions on certain types of weapons, etc., Lots of countries allow citizens to own guns. Some countries (Canada, Israel, to name a few) have lots of guns per capita. None of them have these problems.
