Congratulations! Hope yall get plenty of laughs from them
Id argue that theyre descendants of dinosaurs, not dinosaurs. I have my grandparents' DNA but im not them.
That's sad. Suppressors are literally just safety equipment! The 9mm stribog with the can & 147gr (or heavier) ammo is hearing safe!
Match days are great. Shooting at a static range is fine but the movement and time clock make matches so much fun. And I learned over the winter that suppressors make great post stage hand warmers!
Believe it or not im from the southern US. Shocking i know
I'd consider the jakl not an AR15 anymore. Even though it takes AR grips/triggerd/mags, you can't plop an AR15 upper on it and it work. The jakl deleted the buffer tube/system that the DI AR15 needs to work.
No, it's a PSA jakl. It's a long stroke piston upper (adjustable gas so you don't get as much back blast from the suppressor) on a slightly modified milspec AR15 lower.
I shoot a lot of cardboard in matches too... but I'm doing my first falling steel match next month. 200 round count 9mm only, all steel. Gonna be a blast
Tbh i stole mine. Facebook marketplace for $400. Guy bought it to learn, never took it out of the case, decided not to learn.
I mostly plan mandolin, but I play a little guitar and bass too. I've got a Washburn F body acoustic electric mandolin, a Mexican made fender jazz bass, and a LeSalle JZ2 hollow body guitar.
That's a lot of money I'm glad I didn't spend that much.
I only have expensive hobbies. Instruments, guns, and cars. RIP
Why? Someone on reddit wanted info on my pcc competition gun and so I put a few pics & some info on here. Why is that bad?
Not really. It's small enough and compact enough its not bad. I want to SBR it eventually but money
I use it in competitions. Sure I could just not do matches but it's a hobby just like any other.
Good luck! I think ruger makes all of the American series guns in a lefty bolt. Might be worth looking into
Im partially ambidextrous but left eye dominant. I do most of my shooting lefty. But yeah, I like a right handed bolt gun off the left shoulder when you have a rest available. Definitely try it sometime
I'm a lefty. When I'm shooting off a rest i prefer a right handed bolt gun because my firing hand can maintain a consistent grip
Ehh, rimfire, especially bulk ammo, is much less consistent. If this was a centerfire rifle with proper ammo I'd expect tighter groups, but with that ammo, 2moa or under is respectable.
Thanks unit conversion bot
The internet is full of extremists both ways. It helped my mental health a lot when I decided to ignore both extremes. Ill stick to safely going to the range and going to competitive matches.
This one is managed by the state DNR and open for free to anyone with a hunting or fishing license. They have 100yd for rifle and 25yd for handguns separated by a short walk.
It shoots great. I got this one used for around the same price as the stock. All I did was add the scope. As you can see, it's pretty accurate for a .22
Its a savage b22 action in a boyds hardwood stock with a 4-16x42 vortex diamondback on it.
It doesn't take 10/22 mags, I just also had my 10/22 with me
Eh, doesn't really bother me. Unless its in a related community, a lot of the internet is anti gun (usually from lack of understanding). I just made the post here to link to a reddit post in a shooting subreddit about my new rifle.
So ive heard. I think I'll continue enjoying competitive shooting and hunting
Rascal is now a big floof
I've been told it's normally a very fishy fish but this one was pretty mild on the fish flavor. Just a hint of fish flavor and large flakes.
I like to cook so I'll probably come up with some mix of spices/seasonings that I won't measure so I'll never be able to replicate ๐
