The way it happened, the Rams could run their normal offense, instead in being in hurry up 2 min off. Changes the whole drive.
The Rams would start they drive with 42 secs left, no timeouts and would have less time if they returned the kick.
They had 1:58 left on 1st down. If they ran the ball 3 times and then kicked they would have ran off 1:16 (Rams had 1 TO).
THIS. They should never have been in that situation on 3rd down.
