Context always matters, but the reality is most of the pics uploaded are not by people showing off their own bodies. It’s dumps of “scientists” and thigh high thursdays and while all that’s great in its own context, in this one it was obvious horny guys being weird. And that has consequences, as ndelray? And her nsfw hula hoop fiasco clearly showed. The pressuring her after the post went viral and then the hate campaign for it not being “sexy” enough drove her off the site
2/2 How does one tell the difference between someone who is a free spirit unburdened by societal hangups about the body and sexuality and notions of modesty and someone who is seeking validation by engaging in something they have been taught is desirable? At a glance you can’t but I do know someone who was complaining about their fathers’ criticism of their body while streaming on a cam site, and it’s hard not to see where their attempts at wanting to be seen as beautiful and the avenues started
You’re misunderstanding the difference between objectification and sexual self expression. There are qualitative differences between an image showcasing the body of a woman in various poses and what playboy does. One is appreciation of form the other is self-gratification. The issues with objectification is that it often has been done in toxic ways that don’t acknowledge the person being objectified. The issue you’re facing now is that it’s not cut and dry and can’t be parsed easily 1/2

I had a brief ghost pepper phase, but what I really fell for was a mango habanero sauce. So tangy and just the right amount of bite. I’ve been procrastinating making some, but the peppers are nearly ready to harvest so hopefully that motivates me
