Here in the states there is little regulation on rent. My MIL moved into an apt in 2020 rent was $1800 a month. Her rent increased yearly and now she is paying $2600 a month. With my mortgage I don't have a greedy asshole landlord jacking up my rent every year l.
When I was 37 i saw the world get ravaged by COVID 19 and my president did nothing, when I was 38 I saw the first ever attempt at a coup de gras by a sitting president, I've watched police officers execute unarmed citizens with no repercussions, I've watched school shootings happen in real time. I watch as the world burns and I am not sure if I will get to see 85 years old, but if i do I wonder how much worse it will get.

In 1989 when I was 5 I watched the Berlin wall come down, when I was 6/7 I watched Operation desert storm, when I was 12 I watched the OKC bombing, when I was 18 I watched the twin towers fall live on TV, and over the next year see us go back to Iraq for no reason, when I was 20 I saw a human get decapitated on the Internet, when I was 25 I watched the us economy collapse, and the job market change forever, when I was 33 I saw conservatives show their true colors.
I looked into this a few months ago. Turns out it has to do with the nervous system causing you to relax by lowering heart rate and BP. A side effect is a runny nose. Also why people faint on the shitter.
Right on. Phase 1. Fix voting, auto registration at 18, every citizen gets a vote, districts determined by third party independent entities under federal guidelines, ranked choice voting, 90 day campaign timeline, and eliminate campaign finance in favor of 3 debates hosted on public television, no candidate gets the questions in advance. Phase 2. We fix everything else. Conservatives won't win elections on their unpopular policies alone, they need massive donations to scapegoat at risk people.
Uncle Clarence needs a new Winnebago, rapist brett kavanaugh needs some beer, amy crazy Barrett needs a donation to her cult, and Samuel Alito needs a 24 hour feed of impoverished families that where the mother is forced to give birth to a child she doesn't want.
