I can't understand people who surrender their dog. I needed an eye operation a while back. My dog needed one too. Who do you think I paid for first and who do you think waited a few months til I could save back up? You take on a dog, you agreed to make a sacrifice. If you just wanted a puppy because it's cute but don't love it anymore once it's inconvenient, you were never worthy.

So many billionaire simps want to tell me that billionaires have become super rich because they're economic genius savants who are just lightyears ahead when it comes down captaining a corporation. Except Musk and Elon fail at more things than they succeed, it's just that they've got so much resource mass behind them they can't fail. It's like a 22 year old who is racing against a 1 year old. The 22 year old isn't an olympian, he's just so much bigger he can't lose.
When I was 18 if I dreamed about working out I'd wake up with pecs. Now I'm 43 and if I smell chocolate I put on 4kgs. Metabolism is BS. So are 19 year old fitness influencers who think they can teach me anything.
Like... I get what this ad is doing. I can see the usefulness of it. It's just so weird to me that Americans have to this blunt force, teenage drama level convincing emotive BS to make decisions. I'm in Australia, I'm not saying it's better, but usually the ads running are "This guy wants to be Prime Minister, he has an dumb history, look at these policies. Bad. Don't vote for him." This kidnapping the pretty girl with a super villain caressing her cheek while a goon covers her mouth is weird...
Also, don't you only salute if you've been in the military? Like soldiers salute the president, but the president doesn't salute them back? I dunno army stuff, but it's just weird that Draft Dodger Donny loves saluting so much. I reckon the only reason he hasn't made a Presidential military uniform is only because he hasn't thought of it, not because it would be in bad taste.

I can honestly forgive voting for him the first time. People wanted a change maker who was going to shake up the entrenched system. Imagine, just imagine, if America kept its promise of protection to Ukraine and sent overwhelming firepower in military aid. Putin would have been humiliated. He’d have looked weak and foolish. It would have sent a clear message that democracies defend each other.Instead we have this horror. And now the US is going to be so wrapped up in bombing Iran into rubble they won’t have the spare military aid to defend allies. The west has never been so vulnerable.

To this response, hard agree. I think it’s an important to be aware of context because if someone is struggling with a porn addiction people will try to treat the behaviour. Cold showers, exercise, negative enforcement whatever.But all addiction is pain relief. I’m suffering in some way and need it to stop, and people look for relief in all sorts of methods.

Hard disagree. I won’t go in depth, but there’s a lot of modern research that shows pornography to be addictive, harmful to relationships and damaging to women specifically. I’m not going to judge someone on how they find their relief, but the put off for me with pornography is the hyper sexualisation and regular exploitation of women.
They start out looking like that, but only for a very small amount of time. 5-10 years of dealing with 4th graders will swiftly turn you into Ms Bitters from Invader Zim.
I will always be salty at Valve for assembling the greatest gaming studio since Rareware at its peak and letting the whole thing rot on the vine. I teach Nursing at university. My favourite thing to do is to build up student’s confidence to think out loud. If you put your hand up to answer a question, I’m going to reward and acknowledge your courage, and then help you get to the answer.It is a crime to me how many people come away from the public education system convinced that they’re stupid. You’re not. You have a perspective that is unique and a mind worth cultivating. No one is allowed to tell you you’re not clever as you learn.

It’s no longer an issue of needing education and long suffering conversion - if you can watch a video like this and not see what actually happened, it’s because you don’t want to see it, and you can explain that to your God at the judgement day.
