Think it more depends on demeanour and personality of your cat, I have one who I have never once caught on the tops.

They all have access to as well as access to our garden front and back whenever they need it. Still won’t stop them

Because cats are curious and love exploring and tables and counters are used to prepare food. Beds, toys, Hiding holes and low windows (1)

Curled up nicely on their bed. Butter wouldn’t melt

It’s the noise that’s the give away, I can hear my cats jump from the tops when they hear me coming, by the time I open the door they’re (1)

I urge you to set up a camera overnight and when you aren’t around

I’ve had 6 in my lifetime, my grandparents have had 2, my auntie has 4. Cats aren’t dogs the boundary is not to do it while you are around

I’ve had cats burn their feet on the still hot hob, and that didn’t stop them you can definitely teach them not to do it while you’re there

My cats aren’t allowed on the tops, sofas or bedroooms, they just don’t do it when we are around. If you had a camera you would be surprised

If any cat owner looked at countertops close enough they would see this fact

As much as you are getting downvoted I will back you up. This is exactly what happens. I’ve owned cats all my life as has all my family (1)

Spoken like a person whose never had a cat. Cats do what they wan they know it’s wrong they just make sure you aren’t around when they do it

Guess it depends on an individuals relationship with their parents

Full rent in the current market. Not going to sign myself into poverty just to be able to say I don’t live with my parents

Nothing wrong with living at home, I’m 27 and still do. Not in a position to live comfortably even with a full time job if I was paying (1)

Do you think you pass in a grocery store? Walking down the street? Alienating your family because they chose not to have it is kind of odd

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have had both and even though I was in close contact with them while we isolated eating at the same table etc they never caught it

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

But to boost confidence in your own vaccine I have only had one dose, caught covid a couple of weeks ago while staying with parents who (1)

I understand that I can only speak from my perspective and family dynamic. I guess living abroad not seeing your parents is somewhat normal

Alienating your family because they haven’t had it seems odd to me. I agree it’s a stupid decision but it’s their stupid decision to make

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

Personally I think it could be an over reaction. You probably come into contact with unvaccinated people on a daily without knowing it (1)

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 17

Lmao I’ll take it!

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
