It's one thing to snap it in half, but blended in a blender??

I'm American, but I have both French and Italian in my blood from my dad's side of the family. The only reason I break my spaghetti when cooking it is because I don't yet have a pot big enough to put it in whole. Prepping it in a blender feels like a literal fever dream

Trolling or not, it's still a total first for me seeing this pasta blasphemy. I feel the pain shown here

It's a literal cartoon moment, but in real life. Classic!

I couldn't even be mad at this ginger furbaby. He's as sweet as that irresistible Blue Bell ice cream

As a lifelong classic Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, I like to imagine that this phone is property of Yami Yugi/Pharaoh Atem
(Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters).

That said, my ex-boyfriend is an Egyptian, and I'm willing to bet he'd love to own that very cellphone if he could. I always wanted a Nokia myself, and I hear they are top tier. Cellphones like these - regardless of brand - were total beasts in terms of quality and durability. Nothing like the garbage we get with today's smartphones

Been a classic Yu-Gi-Oh! fan since it first premiered back in 2000, and I will be for my entire life. Yami Yugi is my favorite of the male cast of characters, and I was gifted this very thing earlier this year by one of my best friends. I love it and this series so much. Be it the anime, games and other merch, or the manga

As an early 80s baby myself, I can confirm this is spot on. My grandparents even had that very couch

And she's not the only one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8T9ggUjFrLk

As a woman myself, I am here to say 'Thank you' to all men AND women inventors of old. And also declare that men should never ever underestimate us. We are far more than beauty and baby makers. We also have brains. And this proves against the stereotypical stigma, just how well we know how to use them

I hope she took them both. I would!

I miss having those kinds of slippers. Been thinking of hunting for some on Amazon. Not only were they comfy and cute, but it was funny seeing the heads bobble as we walked

lol To be fair, it COULD be both or either. My bedroom was colorful like the top, while our living room was similar to the bottom. Speaking from experience as an early 80s baby. No ashtrays though, as my grandparents - whom had raised me from infancy - didn't smoke, and anyone who did was kindly told to do so outside. A rule I still live by in my own apartment all these years later as a fellow non-smoker

I share kitty's fascination. It's like Silly Putty, but for beds!

Reminds me of the wind-up toys of my childhood. And who doesn't love penguins? This is great

One of the many shows I grew up watching in the 80s as a kid. All these years later, as it's still a gut-buster. Absolutely one of the best and funniest. If you haven't seen it, I HIGHLY recommend it. Shame we'll never have quality shows like these ever again. R.I.P. to this beautiful cast

As someone who is American, but has Italian in my blood from my dad's side of the family, I don't know whether to feel amused or appalled. By which I mean, 'It's funny, cause it's true'. The secondhand shock and embarrassment is real! The background guy in the sunnies sums up everything I'm thinking and feeling here. And people wonder why American tourists get so much shade by native locals of said country. Anything for them views and likes, amirite? Oof! A little respect goes a long way

Such a shame that so much is gone now, especially for the sake of "modernization". I find the small towns and their buildings charming. And not just cause I grew up in one. I'd understand if the building was so decrepit it became a safety hazard. But it feels like too many people and cities nowadays do this just cause they can. It's what society today calls "Keeping up with the Joneses". These vintage places may not be perfect, but they have their charm and stories that deserve to be told

As an 80s baby, I can declare all this as 100% legit. I miss it everyday
