ENT surgeon. Missed the bigger vessels, and looks relatively shallow. Mostly stuck in the sternocleidomastoid muscle, will probably be fine.

MD here. You don't use x-ray to diagnose broken ribs, it is a clinical diagnose. It will only cost you extra. And yes sounds like broken rib
