I've found screws and bisque shards while I was throwing. Even after wedging the shit out of the clay.

I believe this is Hugh Hope. He's on ig and has a bunch of other pots that he uses this same technique.
Screen printing is also part of my degree. Ya sure :)
I actually do learn this. I'm in school for fiber and textiles. It's a lot of fun and really messy.

Some plugs have rings instead of flared bases. Do not use those.
