That’s a false dichotomy, you can do both. Taking aipac money tends to mean that person will take corporate money and ignore populist policies for more campaign money. It screams sellout to people who are tired of being sold. Policy is going to change from state to state but this message shouldn’t ever change. This is the overwhelmingly popular opinion in the Democratic party, anyone running against it is not a populist. They have no moral backbone and can’t betrusted to do what’s right.
Establishment Dems really have no clue how easy it is to make them look bad. These primaries are hard and the actual elections even harder for them. Imagine letting the Republican candidate be the antiwar candidate... again. What could go wrong? Everyone is so done with them.
