I am so fortunate and happy and my new place of employment. I'm an industrial electrician/instrumentation tech at a paper mill. We're all union with the exception of some salaried management positions. I didn't know what I was missing out on until I had this amazing job. Unions really REALLY do offer a further layer of protection against cooperate greed and fuckery. For the past 6 weeks I've been trying to adjust my sleep schedule. For over a decade I was used to waking up at 7-7:30, but now I have to be up at 4:45am. It's not the waking up part that's been so hard, it's falling asleep before 10pm. I'm so used to going to bed around 11:30-midnight, it's been almost impossible for me to actually go to sleep at 9:30-10pm lately. I'm the type of person who needs 7hrs of sleep to function.

If you have the bike in neutral it will still run with the kickstand down. As soon as you put it in gear it will die. (unless you bypass the killswitch, I agree isn't a good idea)
