hello c:

Any way you could post example pictures of the way this looks when finished? :)

BTW, my experience is not uncommon. Happy for the ladies it works out for, but my gyno literally told me during my insertion, “You’re doing great! Most women are screaming by now” and how she would never get one herself. That’s how common extreme pain is. I roughed it out hoping it would still be a long term solution, as hardly anything worked prior, but it wasn’t worth it. It’s one of those, “ehhh, fuck women and their medical issues, they can deal” sort of things we deal with all the time.

Additionally, i gave it 6 months to settle, but it caused me much much worse cramps nearly the entire time, and mine were already so horrid I had to take 3 Rx pain meds for them. It never got better and I had to have it yanked, which despite the panic attack beforehand while remembering how hard insertion was- was literally entirely painless :) Got the arm implant same day, no pain at all, lasts 3 years too, just got it replaced and same deal no hassle. I highly recommend.

My two cents- it should be illegal to get an IUD without anesthetic- FORCE them to put you under. ESPECIALLY if you’ve never had kids. I’m high pain tolerance due to endo, and I threw up twice, passed out and afterwards my body evacuated my bowels due to all the adrenaline. When they pierced my cervix, (standard procedure, they don’t mention-) it induced contractions so strong they had to pause for half an hour to “wait for the convulsions to stop.” it was traumatizing, do. not. do. it.

not at all! i think it would look awesome :D fair warning for styling long hair though, you might need some tools and products to get these types of results, it takes a bit of learning and practice so don’t give up if it doesn’t come out perfect for a bit at first! There are some advanced techniques in some of these, but it’s all doable once you start getting used to the basics of styling/braiding/sectioning/straightening/curling/ponies :) i hope you have fun with it!!

I see a lot of “I don’t know where to meet good people to date” sentiments among all genders of people; I sort of wonder if the issue is seeking a ‘date’ at all? Why not just try to make friends with people? (which can be hard too ofc!) But seems like you’ll know quick if they’re open to romance or not, and if it’s yes: cool, then see if they’re interested. If not, u have a friend? And maybe they know cool single people too and can help wingman you. It takes a lot of pressure + pretense off.

Sorry, could you clarify this response? I don’t think I understand it.

I think the reaction you’re getting stems from the post lacking any descriptions of meaningful efforts your family provided to earn your forgiveness or any demonstrations of regret or genuine sorrow. It reads as if you just eventually ‘let go’ of their abuses over time in order to maintain the social pressure of ‘having good family relations’ because you’re ‘supposed to,’ even if they don’t deserve it. Strikes the nerves of those who have seen loved ones minimize abuse, and these were *severe*.

Really? I find it artfully done and it evokes a lot of thought for each of these. The 1st, the combination of references to digital media production symbols combined with the raw external world reminds me of the difficulty of producing art and the meaning of the tools we use to create our “brands.” The 2nd is more aesthetic, like hotline miami vibes, and it extremely skillfully planned and produced. Abstract art is valid, and just because it’s a word or untraditional doesn’t make it less of art

It’s prohibitively expensive to emigrate. It costs thousands, takes tons of time, and has harsh requirements almost none of us can feasibly meet, PARTICULARLY those affected by the poverty-inducing institutions here.

I personally would love a post to save and reference! Though if it’s too much work don’t worry! I was also wondering, any tips on deodorant residue or stains in the wash? They’re my trickiest ones!

Worst experience of my life, and even after my uterus was so small from no kids that I felt the IUD constantly and it gave me horrid cramps
