Hi! I'm a happily married lass from Northern California, USA. I love gardening, reading, camping and playing video games. I've been a longtime lurker and I finally got the guts to register so I could share photos we take that make us smile. I hope they make some of you smile too. ^_^

Hope you're still with us under a secret alias.💗

First winter in the ground, I wrapped it during frosts, hard freezes and covered it with xmas lights. This last winter I didn't do anything and I thought for sure they were gonna die back to the ground. It took awhile, but they all woke back up and began pushing leaves.

Even -with- insurance, medical bills can bankrupt if you aren't wealthy. We had to pay 4k out of pocket this year for a single ER visit.

Yep. I see these posts in my gardening groups allot. I'm not saying there aren't plants that don't repel things, but most of the scent based is rubbish. Lavender repelling fleas and ants, etc. My wild rat wouldn't like huffing concentrated peppermint oil, but then neither would I. Big difference between that and passive planting.

This. There is a huge difference between the effects of an essential oil vs the passive scent of a plant in the yard. Mint plants repel rats is a popular one. My wild rat enjoys eating it in enrichment bundles.

The sound effects are rough in long dark. I hated sooner of the sounds in Red dead redemption too for hunting.

I love how he still tries to posture at the end. "I meant to get that beat down... All part of my plan."

I disagree. I've grown plenty as well. They don't do well in cold climates. In fact tomatoes are far more cold tolerant

The video is misleading because if you're growing these inside you'll need special lighting. A sunny window or high overhead won't work.

Peppers need lots of time and heat. Takes a special climate or environment to gat that heat long enough. 1/2

Don't listen you others. Like what you like. As long as you aren't side stepping responsibilities and your future, fuck 'em

I put ballet in same category as football. Entertainment at the lifelong expense of a participant is gross.
