What is this I don't even?

"openings that contract like the strongest man's fist" is some seriously vivid imagery. That's some damn good writing.

"Krypto... home. Take me home."

Dang, that all sucks and I'm sorry that happened to you. I can understand all of that adding up to ruin the experience.

I used to really love shopping at Walmart after midnight, because nobody was there and it was generally quiet (aside from the occasional pallet jack or floor buffer). It was also a good place to go walk around when needing to get out of the house due to anxiety attacks. Now if it's after 10 or 11 and my wife or I need to get out, we're SOL.

I'd recommend giving The Other One a listen, it's pretty solid. While Metal Galaxy was really experimental, this one returns to a lot more straight-up rock/metal sound, and Su's singing has never been better. Plus their collabs over the last year have all been crazy-go-nuts.

It's literally people leaving a cult, man. Hold people accountable, but have a *little bit* of compassion about it.

Because they've had it hammered into them for *years* that certain issues are so important that it's justified to pick a "lesser evil" (1)

then they're likely running right back to what they knew. Hold people accountable, but don't be an asshole about it.

If someone is stepping out of a cult saying, "Hey I was wrong, what do I do?" & the first thing they get is a rock thrown at their head,

Sure, never said there aren't, but you attribute to malice what is often strong, year-long indoctrination from misinformation campaigns.

then it can really harm their incentive to keep on the path to redemption. Don't be someone's reason for giving up.

Not saying ignore their reasons for supporting him, but if the first thing they hear after saying "I'm trying to do the right thing" is hate

Tell them "better late than never" & move on, not "why the fuck did you support him in the first place?!".

Those of us who never supported him need to remember: if someone says they don't support him anymore, don't rub their nose in it.

For sure; nostalgic to see, but I'm glad I don't have to smell it anymore.

Steve sounds like he got a business loan from his rich dad to get started.

Up until sometime around the turn of the century, you could smoke indoors in most places. Clean Air laws are a relatively new thing.

No joke, Fox News has a headline right on the front page of MSN about Hunter taking a vacation.

This judge, from all reports, was presented lots of evidence, asked thorough questions, & deliberated for a while before signing.

Or something to that effect. We weren't actually related, she was my cousin's step-sister, so the disconnect was actually pretty easy for me

Yes. A cousin I no longer speak to once posted "If you teach your kids to accept Biden is president, you're teaching them to accept lies."

I think you have to create an account now, but I don't know if there's a time limit because I didn't create an account.

Also does a fantastic job of realistic body proportions, larger men & women don't look like caricatures.

Jiang has such a nice art style that's very distinct, the expressions are all top notch, and each character manages to look unique.

His speechwriters, at least, saw the comparison coming, so his latest "tweet" explains why; it's stupid, but his base will believe it.

Nope, it's cheap metal where the blade connects to the fan motor. It doesn't take a whole lot of force to snap those sometimes.

All fun & games until it actually catches one and ends up snapping a fan blade off
