is this game like "stronghold" but more fantasy oriented? looks cool, do you have any Early Access date for it?
fair enough. but why would the other great houses allow ANY house to control spice production? why not let an "neutral" party like the spacing guild or the CHOAM, who already had huge monopoly in most forms of commerce, also be in charge of the production and export of spice from arrakis? or make a landsraad appointed entity in charge to ensure that spice production kept up with demand?
it never made sense to me why the shaddam didnt just claim arrakis as part of his feif. if the production of spice is so absolutely vital to the survival of the empire, why give the planet to a rival house to begin with? specially a house as untrustworthy as the harkonens.
