Dude. At worst a mental health professional gets brutally murdered attempting to render aid to a person who stabbed them multiple times before they got away to do more harm somewhere else. My mom was an EMT for 25 years, the amount of times she was assaulted both physically and sexually are uncountable. There is a reason EMS almost always has a police escort. You don't seem to understand what you are really saying and how it would actually work out.
Look I get that but that still doesnt really address the fundamental issue as I see it. The issue being that anyone in a position of power has the ability to abuse it. And, in order for anyone who have any ability to protect anyone, they need to have a certain level of power, which means they have the potential to commit abuse. "Community Policing" doesnt do anything about this due to the fact that the majority of abuse people suffer from, is from people they know, in their own community.
