Um, I like puppies and unicorns and long walks on the beach...

I love that you know this! That was a glorious fact I learned living and working in NV from The Washoe Tribe’s history!!!

Agreed. She is struggling.
I see a therapist weekly as I am a therapist and to prevent burnout this is something our job requires. It is fantastic. If you want help with services, let me know- I can support you in your area.

I’m running into challenges getting on grid with solar, there are solar farms being built in my area- with energy saving claims when you buy into it- however electric bills are the same, in some cases higher. You see a drop in your bills for the first few months and then a dramatic increase.
Is installing panels ON your home the more viable solution?

I immediately see a woman that is extremely passionate about consent- likely a survivor of sexual assault. And acting in a way in which society and current culture sees as unacceptable, which absolutely indicates a degree of mental illness. PTSD, Anxiety, possible cluster A or B personality disorder- possibly even substance use disorder, which is typically co-occurring.

I heard a story very similar and to this day thought it was “a thing” I’m now questioning the validity of said story.
The “kid” hid the sheets of acid in his sock in the high school story I was told

Forced marriage… sex… is morally awful to me, at any age. To any gender. There is no absolute morality, that is a fact. However.
This young girl clearly doesn’t want it. This is not consent. She is suffering, It IS awful.

TBI can cause this as well. This Marine received a Purple Heart. OIF/OEF wars were fought with a lot of IEDs, causing TBIs… which can exacerbate PTSD s/sc and anger responses

Or perhaps- he works with a therapist to focus on EMDR and processing his PTSD as he has been diagnosed with. He is also a Purple Heart recipient. He definitely needs to find a way to process anger- however knowing the war he came from….a TBI could be a very real possibility and causing his behavior as well. Let’s heal this Marine not jump straight to institutionalizing.

I appreciate the raw transparency about your journey.
You are absolutely correct. It is more times than not a co-occurring disorder. Such as Substance use disorder and PTSD or BPD…
It is absolutely a mental illness however- it’s got its own DSM diagnosis/code and ICD10 code.

How do you happen to apply for adopting one of these beautiful kittens? Or momma?

These are foster babies, right? How does one go about becoming a forever home for one?

I’m curious what the criteria for hypersexual is? True question, no sarcasm.

TBH, I’ve never been around a pup that did not fall asleep when they were tired. Didn’t matter where or when. Lights out. Stressed puppies behave differently than those in that video.

Hell yes. This sort of experience is so exhilarating.
I have went on a lot of zip lines all over. The PI, Canada, Japan, some in the US.
They are a blast, just the right amount of adrenaline without having to spend a ton of money or be certified and crazy skilled. There are safeties in place but still some risk involved. Absolutely worth it.

They can also help with accessing resources in your area that you may not know of for funding and financial/transportation resources

A case worker can put you into contact with vocational services and or help you work towards goals. There are grants to support you if you have no money, state insurance is covered by most organizations as well. Message me for some assistance working towards any of these things if that is where you are in your journey.

March 29, 2025..partial solar eclipse will be visible along the north east part of North America! If your mind is already lost, does this cancel it out?

What does that mean “space reserved for women and girls”
As both a woman and a girl…I would be interested in said spaces…sounds like fun. Does this magical space have unicorns and shit?

Or maybe it’s just pseudo psych that was made up. “Over explaining” is a DSM 5 criteria for ASD and ADHD as well. Just saying. I also am very aware that you can just be excited and wanting to share sooooo much.

I’m sorry you are going through that it is not easy. The only thing I can give you is yes it is asshole behavior, but it is not your father anymore. His brain has changed and it’s not fair to those that are around and see the shell that used to be the parent. As well as to all of the others you have supported. It’s hard to understand that and it’s easy to just say “boomers are assholes” but the truth is, even if it was a different generation, the unfiltered behaviors would still be present.

If she has a support worker, I’m wondering if she is in the early stages of dementia or she has a mental illness where she struggles with boundaries or social skills. Maybe the workers know and that is how they cope with it.

I stepped on a piece of trash in the woods about 3 months ago and had the freeze/oh f*ck moment, was able to move like 2 seconds later and laugh it off. Last time I was in Iraq was ‘06. But the moments are fewer and fewer. And am able to shake it off. I even ate IN a restaurant without putting my back to a wall and the other safety checklists for being inside with people. I no longer carry a weapon every time I leave my home either. Small wins.

Source? I have never received nor had co workers receive compensation for prescribing meds. Most we get is a luncheon and some free pens covered by the pharmacy rep.

I too have ADHD, there is a difference between appropriate punishment and teaching to work through your issues. You CAN have ADHD/Autism and clean things
