Progress is honestly out of our hands in most cases, but, consistency and effort is not and those are the real keys to long term success. You don't need to be good at everything you do, or even get better at it, you just need to keep doing it.

That's easy enough to agree with! My only wish is that folks take a look at the science behind true "keto" and steer clear. Carb restriction definitely doesn't work for me (I like carbs and can calorie restrict just fine) but in my understanding and experience there's a big gap between simple carb restriction and what shills sell as "keto dieting" just stay safe folks

Annoyingly, the most important factor to consistent long term weight loss is consistency. That consistency in movement, in eating smaller portions, and I can say from experience that 29 years of bad eating dwarfs even a few years of good in terms of habit building but my advice for that is singular focus. If weight loss is important to you, my advice is try to make it the most important thing put it above everything else for awhile and you will see positive changes and a good habit building

2 main things fellow heavy guy, less calories in than you burn. Use calculator.net and find your BMR, from there use my fitness pal to try to eat that much each day. Once it hurts less to walk, and the food situation is uncontrol (about 3 weeks to 1 month in) start adding reasonable cardio. 20 min walking a day to start, work your way up to 1 hr, then make sure you do it everyday. Eventually, once the loss has really kicked in, start jogging. Lots of breaks and start short times Try the elptical

Keto isn't really that scientifically backed beyond the observation that eating less carbs will result in weight loss.

I'm gonna assume you're stupid or a troll, as you basically just said the same thing again rather than engage with my comment.

I don't think we should ban robotics nor should we ban AI I believe that your argument of "they'll just get reeducation and move onto another career" is literally the biggest problem I have with AI. I want to protect the creative impulse and protect the creative choice for a career. I don't think that it's right for robotics to have taken over factory work entirely, but I'm happy it's significantly safer now than it was before. I don't want to see art & music go the way of factory jobs.

I don't want AI taking money away creative pursuits so that we have more time for my factory job hobby

Where is the part where they're generating information?? Look at this screenshot and tell me where the information is being filled in. There isn't generation happening during the taking of panorama photos, just photos being taken one after another. There's blending, but that's blending using the info that's there, it's literally not generative AI

I really think you're struggling to understand that a panorama photo is literally just using multiple photos which are mixed together by AI and are not literally generative AI. Like the problem that you're sweeping under the rug is that it is immoral to steal another's work for generative AI to create soulless suckass ""art"" and the other is using AI in part, to stitch the photos a real human has taken and put them together.

Okay, dumbass, please tell us about how generative AI was used in the making of this panorama photo

Looks like it's mostly duckweed and algae so I personally wouldn't mind too much, but I also have a single brain cell so there's that

K here's the thing I actually thought you were factually correct, I'm just an idiot and tried to make basically the same joke but in reverse

That was actually a decade ago. Time flies huh.

I'm gonna guess the answer is: Yes

OOH I love that much better than Mac'in with the mates, you gotta just MATE with the boys. It's funny but hell the little laugh might be all you need to break the ice. I wish, sincerely, that people can live openly. I've heard Keanu say it but it's sage like wisdom, if you open yourself honestly and kindly to another and they treat you poorly, thank them, for they've let you know that they aren't worth your effort.

That's really depressing and a past reality that I've faced. You and everyone else will probably hate to hear it, but if you sincerely feel this way, please, please find a licensed person to speak to, or if that's not financially possible, find someone who also feels the same way. Call it mutually assured company MAC

That's just like factually incorrect, plus it provided stimulus to the economy through tangible and recorded reinvestment into the company, the community and the employees. There were still dragons hoarding, but they had the main flow of their wealth redirected to the peasants who did all the actual work.

Look up the high capital gains and profit taxes of the early 1900 that shit works

Well to be fair there's a distinct difference between Bezos who is exploiting a whole working class and an entertainer who is popular enough to accumulate massive wealth. Is wealth disparity bad? Yes! Am I going to get the guillotine out for swift before bezos or musk? Absolutely not
