People assume I'm a dude, but really I'm a girl backpacking engineer - an even rarer breed :)

I grabbed my dog's tail at the top of the stairs and told her to run. So far, no lasting side effects. Maybe.

I was in a wedding party where we got to walk in to Chelsea Dagger. Enjoyed pointing out it was the Hawks goals song to the Kings-fan groom!

They had a dance my senior year of HS. There was a pic in the school newspaper. They left lots of room for Jesus.

My hometown. I escaped sans ring, and I'm working on degree 3.

I can say this is true. My bff is a gay dude, but both our families think we're gonna get married.

Did you finish?

Its a long-trail hiker thing - mostly people hiking the Appalachian Trail. I've heard stories of "The Bartender" who's pack is mostly booze.

My master's in aerospace was 350. My labmate's Phd is 800+. My lit review for PhD is almost 100. F.M.L.

Correct. Somehow... I was thinking "it is"... I will blame it on lack of coffee.

12 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

SERIOUSLY. Rarely (if ever) doable for most people who live here.

Thanks!

Thanks! Don't watch it, if I ever do... I'll probably forget about this

10/10 would kayak here

I think it also depend on exactly where you are. If you're talking Manhattan, that's def more than almost everywhere in Boston.

That's nuts, even for the North End.

A very distant relative of mine got a house RIGHT on the gardens in the 70s when nobody wanted to buy there. Can't even imagine today's cost

Many of the mentioned surrounding cities aren't any cheaper tho.

12 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Absolutely. Or Chicago, or SF... Boston is tiny.

12 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Boston annexed a ton of towns back in the day, so it's bigger than you probably think. Jamaica Plain, Hyde Park - part of Boston proper.

Nobody believes me when I say Boston is more expensive than NYC for real estate... Tho Manhattan probably deserves it's own numbers
