Just a lil guy that likes big robots, anime, and making really good food. Sometimes I also like making really big robots (but small). Maybe someday I'll set up streaming about my love of really big robots (but small).
I have a GoPro resting at the bottom of the Severn River in Maryland.
Welcome to photography. Our terminology is ass backwards and means nothing as it should outside of itself.Really, macro pertains to the idea of magnification of the image as a whole. It's not zooming in, but rather changing the representation of the actual size of the object as it is projected on a sensor or film. The macro lens increases the ratio of the image vs its physical counterpart, making the image take up more space on the sensor than it takes up in physical space.
If you had any feedback on lighting, I'd like that. You said it needs work, but that doesn't give me a direction to look into.
Oh damn, you have great set work!
I mean, there is some post production in lightroom, but I dont have any photoshop in pictures oustide of focus stacking for a recent homework assignment.
It's mine too. I need to send a printed copy to the planetarium that let me shoot there.
Lighting is still a learning process.
Yeah, dude. I have extras. YOU have extras. Doesn't seem like a bad idea. Depending on where you live, shipping wouldn't be TOO bad or even necessary.

I'll trade you one of my druids for a strahd. I got two from the two boxes I got on release.
Trying to denoise and make every single micro adjust by hand is tedious. Getting my head around Lightroom has been the biggest boost in helping me learn and get way better results in my own photography. I'm, nowhere near as good a portrait photographer, but I'm still learning and grabbing tricks as I go.Anyone who's saying that post processing and using AI tools in that process is cheating has never had to sit through 8 hours of micro adjustments for a handful of pictures.
I've done the same thing. A former DM and still good friend bought a TON of parts at one point so we could customize our characters.
I'm actually fine with a ton of repeats. If I can get a bunch of parts to mix and match, I've got a lot more creative liberty for more shoots. I also have a bunch of old knights that I can put into the mix.
I bought 2 packs and only had 3 repeats. I'll buy more later, I'm sure but a pretty good first haul.
Honestly, it's pretty step by step. All the pieces are in place for this to work.
I dunno? It was a sign with the "s" light burnt out and it just says "hell" and it was dark and I thought it looked neat so I pulled over and took a picture of it.
What did you shoot this on and what kind of post processing did you need to do, if any? I'm learning photography at the moment and I'm trying to get a feel for how results are achieved.
A lot of single tone fireworks and a daylight white balance shifted colors into the warmer color range, but they were largely the same color.
A lot of places have pretty strict rules about what you can buy and set off for fireworks and most major cities have some incredibly tight rules about that. But on the 4th, it kinda all goes out the window since the city literally does not have the manpower and space to enforce it. It's mostly containment of chaos instead of enforcement.
Maybe, but I also like the fireworks. They don't look like what you typically expect them to look like in photos. I found them mostly resembling plants and flowers more than fireworks. I didn't really post them for points. I posted them because I like what I had and wanted other people to see it. Points are nice, but not my end goal.
I hope you find something else in your life that makes you happy enough to not be a grouch on the internet. I like my hobby enough to share it with people. May e you should find the same.
I'm saving that for the OnlyFans.
I've been pushing myself out of the house (metaphorical house, I'm poor AF) a lot more to get practice with photography I wouldn't otherwise have. It helps having something to work for and towards, even if that thing is just "Feeling a little better than yesterday".
Gotta style.

World domination.
This can't be a coincidence.
My favorite is which ever is most willing to drink the hot cocoa I made. And also go for a winter photo shoot. I need the practice.
You had decades of games to choose from and you had to pick the one that made me break down and cry?
