I just take the photos
For car travel, usually tubs or how you'd transfer a heavy fur coat (ironically). For planes, people use specifically sized ones to fit in overhead compartments or let the airline handle it.
Thanks! I normally run 1/1000s for dance competitions and I was pushing the ISO about as high as I wanted to go. The stage lighting at this convention wasn't great, unfortunately.

Behind the stage, we have a bunch of fans and water. Dancers will usually take off the head piece to cool down, but they keep the rest of the outfit on as they all come out at the end for placements.
The dancers are in suit for the whole 2 hours (and sometimes even in the practice an hour two before). We run the room cold, but that only does so much. The dancers will be running around, jumping, flipping, etc and are very athletic to do it in suit. For a lot of people, putting on the suit means becoming the character. Reminding them of it could break the magic.I'm not sure on the exact distribution, but from my experiences, I think most wouldn't care.
Appreciate it! I've owned a house for awhile, but sold back in 2024 when I moved in with my partner. I always stay on top of repairs and know where everything is. :)

There are usually a lot of vendors with lanyards at conventions. Outside conventions, not sure.
We haven't moved yet, but we cannot wait. We're packing and moving stuff around as much as we can. Closing is in less than 2 weeks.

Conventions are an absolute blast. Even if you aren't a furry, you'd probably have a great time.

In case anyone is wondering, I'm good, just really busy! My partner and I found a house and we're officially under contract as of last night! We've been looking for 2.5 years, so it is a long time coming. I'm going to be busy with mortgage documents and making sure everything is squared away. Post will still happen but there will be days I miss until we get moved in.
Someone will identify them eventually. Makes it difficult when they don't have a badge.

You somewhat get used to the reduced vision. Additionally, most people will have a "handler", which is someone out of suit to help you move around, warn you of obstacles, etc. But yeah, you got to be pretty decent at it.
