This is your public profile, write something about yourself

Good catch

Parades is a good one. The title said "booze cruise" so I assumed the idea was to monetize this and sell tours, but this thing would suck driving on public roads.

tbf this post is artifacted to hell. it looked better in the source video. When you know verifiably that its AI, the telltale signs are there, but before I was sure, I could have excused a lot of it to compression or processing.

What is the context for the poster in the background?

18 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So true. Just recently I was driving and saw a white car with a distinctive black bumper sticker. Or so I thought. Only a short moment later I look at this car, and its a black car with a white bumper sticker. Its wild, my memory of a white car was so crisp, even as I was looking at this car, I could still remember the car being white. Our memories are very fickle things, its always best to doubt them.

Some of these are far more obviously AI. Also the page posting it even explicitly says it posts AI videos.

True, this whole post is a mess. Even if you squint, it aint mint.

That movie was the best. Came out when I was in middle school and I would piss myself laughing every god damn time I watched it. I doubt I'd find it as funny today, but god damn was that not peak comedy for me in like 8th grade.

You probably saw the source of the joke. It happened once, went viral. Then people recreated a thousand of them with AI

And I'm sure this is also not AI?

What is the intended purpose? That's too big to take out in the public, right? Those peddle pubs tend to be pretty slim but this thing is... well its a boat.

That controller on bottom left could be an OG Dualshock. Looked identical to Dualshock2 that came out with PS2.

Yes, anything bad that happens is Democrats fault. Anything good that happens is republican doing. Thats how it is for them. If/When prices fall down again, Teri will say "thanks trump"

All the friends of mine that had one (not me, I was poor) had to use it on the cord because their parents got sick of replacing batteries. I just looked it up. SIX batteries and it lasted as little as 2 hours. Yikes. Even the high end estimate is only 5 hours. Even if your folks were buying dollar store 4 packs, an average game gear went through hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of batteries over its lifespan? Gotta say, I don't appreciate what we got today enough.

I think its you that is not understanding the point here. The point being, again, that that the PSP never did any of the things she said it did. It was not the device that "made entertainment personal", not the device that made it "mobile", nor "always within reach". By all of these metrics, the PSP was not the first. And yes, as you pointed out, most of that is redundant, she probably used an AI to come up with the post. Which part of what I said is objectively not true?

You're doing some serious gymnastics to make something fit the narrative you formed when you misread it, and then trying to get us all to interpret it the way you did.
Yea... mobile and portable are the same thing. These are her words, not mine. That just makes her post that much dumber, not your point that much stronger. This is a real odd hill to die on.

Same, I draw the line there. I could handle the office (us version) but can't do curb.

Weirdly, they just released a notebook for like $500 for students thats actually legit. I'm very surprised.

Wait it doesn't even say "it made entertainment portable". You misquoted it and then I didn't go back up and verify. It said "it made entertainment personal".
Read the exact quote again carefully and try to imagine you don't know what the PSP is.
And I know we're going back and forth on this, but it just doesn't read the way you think it does to someone who isn't already aware of what the psp was because objectively, "personal, mobile, and always within reach" entertainment already existed

They were all in the middle at the start of the day, and then with each successful drop, they moved the completed ramp to the side. I'm not sure why they didn't just remove them completely, but they would just remount them to the side like that. Maybe for effect? I wasn't paying too close attention.

Someone who is not familiar with the PSP would have no idea what that means. Saying "it made entertainment portable" is not going to read. Gaming is entertainment.
And again, the gamegear could also be a TV so even the multimedia angle is wrong. So what was it? The first handheld that was also an internet device? Also kinda murky because the N-Gage existed too. Nintendo DS also had a browser and came out slightly before the PSP (although the browser was added later, admittedly).

Perfect gif for this. I just rewatched this movie last week, love it so much.

Thats basically what that day was like. It was live streamed a few months ago

This was one of those things I really never considered as a kid, but yea, wtf. Those books definitely accepted slavery.

Interstellar is probably my favorite.... but I feel like Cast Away would be most useful

I mean... its not deliberately misreading it when you're literally reading it as written and not applying an additional lens of context that not everyone will have. The average reader won't even know what a PSP is, let alone what made it different than handhelds that came before it.
For that matter, I just realized that the sega gamegear had a TV tuner attachment so I'd argue that was a multimedia device before the PSP.
