You're doing the right thing. The comment above you is BS though. ERs exist to treat those having an emergency, worst first. But we're so clogged with non-emergencies, and only have so many rooms and staff, and there are so many loud, self-important assholes complaining that we end up getting blamed for everything. I'm sorry you have to wait.

Not really. We give it in doses of less than 100 micrograms. Normal street dose is 2 milligrams, which is 1000x stronger than we give it
The only incidents I could find of LE exposure to Fent were from accidental inhalation, which is a thing.
Everyone needs to mind their own fucking business.
I've been an ER nurse for 9 years. With inflation, I make the exact same amount I did when I started. It's not worth it.
