"Stop being informed! This way the horrors won't bother you!" - for real?

It's not going to work itself out...citizens are going to have to get involved. Also, as for the "how" - you teach them. The Truth. You do it yourself and you get involved in their education. You teach them what the government is doing and world history and how this is happening. You teach them.

Not if we make sure to teach our kids the truth...I am

yeah...the bath one was not saying "I love you"...that was stressed cat talk (I recognized it)...that's why it proceeded to attack after.

Stay strong...remember the love - and try to take care of yourself too...including decompressing. I'm so sorry for your situation. Remember, once she is gone she is gone forever and so (despite it being really hard) try to have some "fun" or good times in there, too, if you can. Once they pass you don't get them back.

My mom was an RN at a nursing home for over 40 yrs...1) you can try to give her "safe" chores (like sitting and folding the laundry and putting it on a table next to her)- if her memory is going you can take that load away- give her a new load- unfold the first and have her refold. The need to feel useful is real. Also, many nursing homes are like hell so be careful, there. Finally, I suggest seeking a support group to talk- I helped both my parents pass from chronic illness and it's not easy

I do not believe that he actually has a 53% approval rating...don't forget, the media has been bought and regularly lies.

OP...when/what are these crowds gathering for...

That means that if they use that data and it can be proved that they used that data (in the future) that they will be subject to prosecution for breaking the law...it is something...even if something does not immediately happen it could result in lawsuits and slowdown...

This is a specious argument. Viruses and bacteria mutate. I'll give you just two examples (so many more are there if you look it up). People had been getting sick for thousands of years before the black plague of 1346 which wiped out a full 1/3 to 1/2 of the population. People had been getting sick for longer when the Flu (just a mutated flu variant) killed 50 million people in the influenza outbreak of 1918. Just because they haven't gotten seriously sick yet does not mean that they won't.

I did the same thing to my daughter when she was 3-4 and we were out shopping. I kept a very close eye on her (and usually held her hand) but she was FAST and I had to let go sometimes to do things...I tied a balloon around her wrist...she LOVED it and it made it easier to always keep her in sight.

No, really, he is...they all agree that he is an idiot and a disaster and hate him and they may even unite around stopping him...he may bring about some sort of peace if only in the form of "fuck this guy"

I agree with you- if the show valued his intelligence and fostered it, more, I think that he would have been perceived better. I feel like they did that in season 2 and beyond and it helped to change the dynamic. I always liked Westley's character, tho.

Unpopular opinion time...I really liked Westley (but I was a kid when I watched STNG so maybe that was part of it?)
