One of the only Christians on Imgur. I’m not perfect, but perfectly imperfect.
Like to be called a Mormon, but I also notice there are a lot of prejudice against the church still (insert shrug emoji here)
I see. Historically, “Mormon” was a derogatory slur used by the anti-LDS; namely the ones who were excommunicated from the church. I don’t >
Ah, I see. I want a cool nick name like that
Jdubs?
Well, I’m not in Utah, but here, most the stubborn ones are the elderly, and there is a mask mandate in our county
Yeah, they do. But it’s crazy because the president of the church is a retired Cardiologist. He asks for everyone to comply w cdc guidelines
For helping me see it in an additional hopeful perspective! It’s hard to hold on to that these days
It’s all you have, and I understand that. But I have to say that I want to help NOW, too. I’m not disassociated from the times. Thank you>
I’m sorry, that is a personal question as faith is a very personal journey, but I believe and follow a loving God. I trust in Him deeply
I could say the same of faith... but it’s hard to prove faith to the faithless. It’s a personal journey for everyone, but it’s still there
Yeah, actually. I’m a woman of faith, maybe I don’t understand this logic because my faith and logic go hand in hand.
Actually, these “authors” were prophets. But if we go with that same logic of yours, man created science, soooo...?
This! I follow a God of LOVE, not hate
Have very well been proven wrong centuries later. Plus, science is not a faith system. Carl Sagan believed science was “deeply spiritual”
Maybe God created all we know. Plus, you have to consider that even science can be wrong. Theories, and hypothesis, scientific methods may,<
Like??
I agree with your wife. BYU even gives classes about paleontology, and that is a deeply religious University.
