We keep improving things, or trying. As for toasters, if we never improved toasters and "changed them up" then we would be having daily house fires on every street. One just has infinite more uses than the other which means more room for development and improvement. sure some stuff isn't done to "improve" our tech but the huge majority of updates are direct improvements.
However, referring to Alpha behaviour as acting bigger than you are and yelling... not too far off hahahah

Would seem dumb until we watch a game where a team gets a lead and immediately begins the defensive formation of Wemby holding the ball above his head for the whole quarter.
Loved the sound of v10s, blown diffs, open wastegates. BUT it's been pretty impressive to see these teams force 1000hp out of a 1.6L, hybrid era has been... interesting at least.
