it took me about 6 hours :)

I just made the "underpainting" with acrylics - like the basics of the city. The sky + athmosphere was painted on a second layer with oils

Yes exactly - you can paint with oils on dry acrylics but NOT with acrylics on oils. I first made the acrylic underpainting and added oils
