It may be helpful to slowly move the buckle up and down while controlling the strap, especially while lubricated with 409. You got this @OP
409 is the real deal for this kind of problem
Note, having pliers, a thin flathead screwdriver and/or a thin blunt tool may be useful in controlling/manipulating the strap.
...left of the buckle. Push/pull the other part of the strap to the other side of the buckle's slit.
Apply 409 and pull to the other side. Identify which way the twist needs to turn and firmly grasp the end that needs to stay on the far...
I'm more worried about them delaying 140,000 pages for review of the SCOTUS nomination until only HOURS before the decision has to be made.
