I think you should acknowledge that in a situation where the victim of the first genocide is the perpetrator of the second, equating them will sometimes be read as not only an equation but also a statement regarding one or the other genocide being justified. Your equation will also be read as "it's the same, so they earned the right to do it when it was done to them" or "they are doing the same thing now, which means they deserved it in the past."

I don't think all the Trump typical god-awful publicity stunts would be required. All that is, IMO, is taking a strong hold on a few majority guaranteeing democratic seats and refusing to vote with the rest of the Democrats until they make the concessions she wants. Your political system is only somehow familiar to me but I rarely see any politician deciding to give up power willingly, and that would be the choice for each of them, you vote with AOC or it does not matter. It worked for MAGA.

When my cat was a kitten she learned to sit on my shoulder, now she does not do that anymore but she will absolutely use my back as a stepladder to high shelves if i stand still close to them.

Abundance of desperate workers might make keeping the Ahole a valid business strategy provided he can grind people down for company profits and then replace them efficiently. That's why I believe each case needs to be reviewed and addressed separately.
it does cost, you need to rehire or at very least retrain middle managers that tend to treat people like garbage. Moreover if such a mid is lucky enough to find a group of employees that are struggling personally or mentally enough to place their boss above their personal well being and you change him his team performance will go down before it can eventually go up.
