i've noticed this as an end user and it mostly seems like there's no reason modern programs couldn't be running lightning quick, and often I'll encounter smaller individually created tools/programs for specific things that absolutely do run like that, this issue has more to do with deluded marketing/managing dipshits forcing feature creep to bc they need to demonstrate on paper value addition to execs/shareholders

my first thought is suicides should probably not be included as fatalities for the purposes of determining the danger of the area, but also especially with places like aokigahara that are well known for it made me consider that just in general remote areas could be construed as a danger to people dealing with that because it presents an opportunity to just disappear
as someone who grew up in the early 90's, it's okay, you can call it a vhs player, not only does it just really not matter at all, but it's also an accurate description of its function to 99% of people, was interchangeably called that in the day, and every other media formats player is just called a whatever player, so really, it's fine, the trend of people getting worked up about it being called a vcr is kind of annoying and just feels like pissy waaah waaah kids dumb tiktok bad zoomer hate
i'd be working on getting armed rather than trying to actually convince them when its contingent on having a degree of compassion but this nicely illustrates the contradiction in conservative gender ideology where gender is simultaneously a badge of honor selectively applied only to those who perform roles well enough but if they actually agree they dont perform those roles well and want to change it suddenly that's all dropped and it has no connotations besides what sex one is born as
sure but like if you actually sat down to use this thing it's not like you would need to do the whole legs routine that hes doing just to demonstrate how it wont spill and the novelty/visuals of the spin is sincerely kind of a cool way to aerate, could definitely still see wine people regarding it as tacky or undignified to spin the glass at an event though but I want one of these
yep, this movie has so many little completely random visual gags like that and tons are really memorable, underrated gem
they do teach you but there's not really that much to learn really, it just takes a bit of practice to get the execution down

I dont trust these definitions of higher dimensions that ascribe all these arbitrary concepts to each particular dimension, ive heard topologists and mathematicians talk about geometric shapes that need more surfaces than can be rendered in 3d in order to exist, which makes some level of sense to me at least, how does that concept of dimensions jive with this idea that one can be "every different possible timeline"?
pat got really shitty and abusive by the end especially on souls lps, and even in the super old lps like downcoming and deadly p it was pretty clear that he was often shitty to the point of matt being genuinely upset about it beyond it just being a bit, im honestly surprised the whole lasted as long as it did, it was always nice when liam was around cause he was so good natured it countered a lot of the negativity

This is actually pretty interesting to learn because the idea of it being an effect of macro scale eye observation gave me the idea that the more interesting facet of the effect was that it essentially meant that sapience itself was something "detectable" by and capable of changing the behavior of the universe, makes much more sense now why that idea was never a part of conversation
it was made under the same kind of publishing contract with sony that demons souls was and they've never budged on the exclusivity with that game either, I want to play it with 60fps as much as anyone but I really dont think its happening ever

That movie was amazing by the way, its basically a parody of magic mike about him falling in love with a male dancer, legitimately hilarious and also great that he came back and did something really wild with it instead of playing it safe, shame it seems like it was completely missed
not as expensive as the value of the land you get to own and put plantations on after
either trying to insult you by implying you must want to be a woman if you're concerned about your hair OR they're trying to make a point about how gender affirming surgeries are completely accepted as long as they are affirming the gender one was assigned at birth and not their gender identity, the weird tone makes me think the former but i've seen a whole lot of posts about musks hair transplants with comments to the effect of "oh so gender affirming operations are suddenly okay huh?" so idk
