This makes perfect sense to me. Which is strange because nothing ever makes sense to me.

Two possibilities here: 1) You're at a shit university with a bad teacher 2) This is made up to fit a narrative
A bad teacher =/= education system is broken
You need all of the sciences (including social) to understand the full picture of reality. Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Sociology, Political
PSA: Not all sociologists are like this and humanities isn't entirely full of retards. I've met just as many stupid people in my math course
