shoes are optional but if there is a wreck that looks like you could have hit the brakes harder w adequate footware then you get in trouble.

Might be able by paying living expenses w a credit card until it maxes out then claiming bankruptcy. Meanwhile paying the student loan off.

Those are called scam calls. "That time you flipped me off in traffic is going to cost you. Time to pay your debt!"
Hospital services for instance. Particularly scam doctors who max out insurance before billing for optional treatments they already did.

If you don't pay the debt in 7 years then it becomes a bad debt and can't be collected. Except student loans. Those are always collectible.
