I run an EFHW cut for 40m at the house, but I can only get it strung up at 24ft. However, I have plans to pick up a DX Commander. I figure It would be more efficient with resonant λ/4 verticals, and takes the inefficiencies from the tuner out of the equation. Every watt counts, especially if you only have 10 of them...haha
Pretty much... To me it's the challenge of making a contact from half way around the world using nothing more than radio waves. When I made a contact in Antarctica, I was downright giddy...

#39 Yes, can I get the steel replaced with a nice mahogany...and inlay some glass for the top.....this needs to go in my living room...
That also means you can own damn near any car you want and as many as you want...and you only have to register they one(s) you use...
That said, I personally have no issue if DC residents are allowed to vote in Maryland or Virginia for their congressional representation...
separate national capital and that statehood would unfairly grant Senate representation to a single city. (3/3)
since the Constitution makes clear that representation must come from the states. Making D.C. a state would destroy the notion of a (2/3)
The problem with DC being a state is the founding fathers never intended for district residents to have a vote in Congress (1/3)
