Bigger picture, I stopped being selfish. I put the needs of others before me. Helping others was more fulfilling than I’d ever expected.
I knew the things I was supposed to do, and did them, every day until they became a habit. And quicker than I thought, I came to enjoy them.
Not rich. Actually homeless for a big chunk of it. And rich addicts die just as easily. Drugs are equal opportunity destroyers.
