Abignale himself made up the whole mythos of the numerous cons he supposedly pulled off, which the movie then portrayed "accurately" in the sense that it more or less matched his claims. So it's not like other biopics. Using him to promote the pen is trading on his supposed experience in check fraud and such, but he made up all the stuff about that experience.

I feel like even saying he wrote "dozens" of books may cause people unfamiliar with his body of work to underestimate just how much he wrote. He wrote 41 novels in the Discworld series, 5 side-additions to the series (with others), 3 sci-fi novels, 9 children's books, 5 novels in the Long Earth series (with Stephen Baxter), Good Omens (with Neil Gaiman), plus various short stories and things collected into 5 volumes. He died at 66. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Terry_Pratchett
#7 The author actually did go to see olives pressed into fresh oil; as she (and many others whenever this gets posted somewhere) noted, the color can vary based on method/ripeness of the olives/etc. You could argue that variation makes it an unhelpful description, but still I don't think the criticism here is the dunk it's intended to be. Here's a page capturing her response: https://www.tumblr.com/alatismeni-theitsa/629698930775556096/this-and-i-am-not-sure-how-she-managed-to-jump-to
The key to a properly-cooked and non-exploded bird is many slaps, at lower intensity. This has been experimentally demonstrated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHFhnnTWMgI
I ... why *this* version of that image?
FWIW if you buy the MP3 (or FLAC, etc.) version it is not too difficult to mix it to mono, which will remove this issue. There are various websites that claim to do this for free, none of which I can vouch for. Audacity, a great free program for audio editing that I *can* vouch for, has a feature to do it ("Mix stereo down to mono").

This comic series features 3 main characters, all women with one hyper-sexualized feature each (boobs, butt, lips). Most of the content is bland "the punchline is sex" junk. This is maybe the best comic from this author I've ever seen, despite using a very tired premise and not really being funny, because it actually treats the characters as something like a person.
Uh, uh, that's just... raspberry jam
No most proper diners sell a meatloaf sculpted to look like a human ass.

Yes, part of a series by Pierre Mortel that has done various WH comics https://www.reddit.com/r/Grimdank/comments/11s015p/the_retinue_ep4_astropath_life/

Rick Steves has a couple books for Italy travel; pick the 1 or 2 that best fit the cities you're going to.
The post is not taken directly from this, but it contains several of the same quotes. https://www.yahoo.com/news/white-house-won-t-tell-194500086.html
This is the final puzzle of the show; RSTLNE are always provided "for free", then the contestant (just one, whoever won the "main" part of the episode) picks a few more letters, then they just keep trying to guess the phrase. No more letter reveals, no spinning the wheel. But anyway you're right that the S means it can't be seance.
Interesting to contemplate that a semi-famous man commits suicide, his famous wife gets most of the focus, and this post identifies her (and/or women in general) as the victim of the situation without even naming him. There are often multiple ways to look at a given situation.
I guess I don't doubt that such posts exist, but she's trending because nearly every post/article identifies him as "Aubrey Plaza's husband Jeff Baena", with some not even naming him, and she had a higher baseline number of mentions because she's more famous.
You should suggest it to the crew for the next seas- oh wait.
The numbers all strike me as ass-pulls, especially as there have been major reductions in global poverty in recent years due to UN-led efforts
Just an aside, one of these rides killed someone 2 years ago due to a failure of safety protocols.
Consider how funny it would be to hear your doctor say "oh shit" just as you go under for surgery, as you evaluate this "prank". Like, specifically imagine yourself as the one on the table that has entrusted your life to someone you barely know, and not as an anonymous observer.
#40 Thanks for this cursed Brenda Lee knowledge, I hate it. She apparently re-recorded it when she was 46, if you want to hear what she sounds like with an older voice. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockin%27_Around_the_Christmas_Tree

I haven't seen it before, but if you go by the numbers given here then yes Daria herself (and presumably the others) would be a little older than what's given in the meme: https://www.reddit.com/r/daria/comments/16ekxma/darias_actual_age/
