I think the point is that with the current state of the US Economy and the world all that stuff shouldn't be funded right now. But eh.

There was a vote for Brexit & there have been votes for the MP's who represent you in parliament. I think you've had some say in the matter.
And that's ignoring the international community that would condemn them or try to take them on because of their obvious despotic weakness.
A gov. that would use drones, tanks and indiscriminate bombing on it's citizens has already lost the war. They will never govern in peace.

That implies there was any depth or thought that went in to TLJ's place in a trilogy. It's known that Rian threw JJ's outline in the trash.
