I had a ZF in one of my cars though. Amazing transmission and shifts almost as fast as a DCT. They can also take one hell of a beating and keep going.

I honestly don't get this argument. It's just as much Star Wars as Rogue One. It doesn't need to mention lightsabers or Jedi because it's all the same interconnected story. The Jedi are there, just off screen.
These vehicles aren't cheap. This just proves that having money doesn't equate to having intelligence.
What I don't understand are the proponents of LLMs that claim that it has the capacity to replace most jobs but then in their next sentence lambaste users because they "aren't prompting correctly". It can't be so advanced that it replaces all meaningful tasks at the same time it requires expertise to get a reasonable output.
And what resistance would that be? Seriously, what resistance could we put up that we already haven't been doing the entire time? These people only know chaos and violence. I try, when I can, to steer people away from the nonsense that modern day Republicans stand for. That's all most of us can really do. Emigrating to another country isn't an option.

Insurance companies suck but the anesthesia limits that Anthem was proposing require more nuance to understand what they were trying to do. It was an attempt to stop anesthesiologists from overbilling procedures without justification. Physicians overbilling insurance companies is a big part of why our healthcare is so expensive. The anthem policy may have actually been a positive for healthcare costs.

You can scratch paint just dragging a towel over it when drying it after a wash. Even leaning on the paint while it's dirty can swirl the paint. Denting it is a little bit harder but paint is very easy to scratch.

Owning and operating a private jet is absolutely insane cost wise. You're looking at multiple tens of thousands of dollars just to fly for 1 hour. It's easy to see how companies that do this spend multiple millions a year just so the CEO doesn't have to fly with the poors on an everyday airliner.
Most modern trucks have little practical purpose. They're just land yachts to make small pee pees feel like big pee pees. The people that put lift kits on em are doing some special kind of compensating.
Buying used still helps Tesla. You're helping prop up the value of used Teslas and also inevitably directly contributing if work is ever needed. Plus, they're shitty cars for the money. Please don't. Don't be another asshole with a Tesla. Buy a Rivian or something else besides a Tesla.

Yeah but it ultimately ends up being money out of your pocket. Selling the car is easier if the paint doesn't look like it's been sand blasted. If resale value doesn't matter to you then this is a moot point. However, the exterior condition of the car is a good indicator of how well the owner takes care of everything else.
