It is a failure of our teaching system too. Poor thing has been gutted so badly we have huge swaths of illiterate people, no one in newer generations has any semblance of an understanding of taxes or the laws, myself included in that, and the cost to learn is so astronomically high i could only IMAGINE what it would be like to go back to school if I won the lottery.
Okay, I have a question about this one: on a scale of one to Mount Saint Helens, how bad was this eruption? Cause it looks like the mountain lost a side.

If this was work, I'd reply, "If you are writing me up then be sure to write that the reason is that I was being harassed at work and chose not to engage. I will need a copy of the writeup, and after, can you call in HR? I need to have a meeting with them."
I would have replied to the principal, "As you have shown that my personal freedom and time is not as important as hers I will subject myself happily to this forced task. I WILL ALSO be sure to tell my parents of the reasons you wrote me up and I'm SURE they will agree with you that I should not be allowed to have any peace or quiet while trying to study, as I am obviously the less important person here."

What i do is attach the raw meat to the bread and cook it meat down. Lightly butter the bread side, flip, add cheese and the other slice of bread prebuttered, and cook to a golden crisp and have with au jus sauce~
As much as I want to joke around with everyone this level of a lack of forethought i to how to handle this is both sad and frankly disturbing. Do made loud noise and bright lights, scaring the animal, who saw the bigger vehicle and shied away. Then he JUMPS OUT OF THE VEHICLE AND JUMPS IN FRONT OF THE SCARED ANIMAL WAIVING HIS ARMS.SERIOUSLY I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HE ACTUALLY THOUGHT WOULD HAPPEN THERE...
