Iirc its the cover to one of the goosebumps books, one where a tin of slime wont quit expanding and slowly consumes everything. Cant remember the name...

From the description, sounds like "craphole" would work at least as well, though that terms pretty aggressive. "Nowhere-ville" is an idiom that I've heard before and essentially synonymous with your suggestion.
Thank you for the translation.

There are more brutal deaths, yes. But to feel the clock ticking, be it in a busted sub, a collapsed tunnel, or even an avalanche. The moment you know that you made your last choice, took your last chance. Utterly helpless. You still draw breath, now the last thing separating you from a corpse, but that won't last long. Your free will's gone, too. Undermined because there's nothing left to do. *Maybe* the choices you made before will save you. You'll have to wait and see. tick, tick, tick, tick

I assume you mean the Alberta driver's liscence? Im not aware of it on other provincial liscences. It's a reference to the Royal Tyrell museum and the Albertosaurus that was discovered in Alberta. We also have raised text and a transparent Alberta shaped window with the liscencee's face in it, to make it harder to forge them. I think it's pretty cool.

If you are lucky enough to have a big room, set the guardian to be as far as you can lunge, and remember not to run unless your outside IRL

Almost by definition. They preserve the way things are, as opposed to progressives who change things., or so I was taught.

Canada also killed a ton of Bison, but we were taught it was because they wrecked the trains on the railroad and so were treated as pests.

Having used one for years; you take an extra second to find all the numbers you need and THEN muscle memory kicks in anyway. Its kinda neat.
