Based on a recent UN vote; many see slavery in USA as worse then the Holocaust.

The irony of this is arguably the coutnet pushing it, Ghana, is the country that most owes reparations for slavery to millions around the world. As the Asante kingdom they were the center of slavery and the biggest beneficiaries, kept slavery legal into the 20th century, and are still estimated to have 90+k slaves amoung their elite today. Their demanding reperations is like Germany demanding reparations for the Holocaust

This one is way off. Iran has arguably suffered more military loses than any country since the Second World War.

Americans; so the people who left one country and came to ours started making this food, so it’s seen as symbolic of them while in this country. Europeans: OMG they don’t do that in the country they left!!!!

Some context: Republcian media presented government workers as evil and “woke” since they were hurdles to maga agenda. Also, since it’s a way for regular people to achieve financial stability without giving most of their efforts to billionaires and capitalism, they naturally didn’t like it, calling them “lazy.” (You know, for working regular hours) This is good because it hurts “the other.”

I think it shows how academic intelligence doesn’t always equate to financial success. Basically we gave kids an iq or joint intelligence test and expect that if they do well on it they’ll be guaranteed a solid career. Meanwhile they learn different social skills, often don’t “fit in” with others, and the fields they can succeed in, like higher level academia, often don’t provide financial stability

I remember reading about this, and the explanation was something like the woman had one guy who she loved for his personality and speaking, one who could support the family she wanted, and one she was sexually attracted to, and couldn’t choose. I don’t know if that’s true though

I don’t know. I have a friend who accidentally won a lottery prize of a few million. Not wanting the money much, he decided to donate it to protect wildlife. A miscommunication lead to him buying a large share of Amazon stock, then forgetting. When he realized his mistake he was a billionaire. He once again tried to get rid of it in what everyone told him was a scam, namely bitcoin. Currently he’s thinking of just buying Denmark.

Canadian here. Stop giving away or secrets.

My family convinced them the reason we are pale and sunburn easy is because it’s cold here. This has worked so far.

True. I mean that Scott Pilgrim had a lot of jokes either about the “hipster” crowd of 90s-2000s video games. As a millennial at the time it was everything I grew up with, now less so

A Trump supporter could read this, understand it, watch a pandemic come, see people dying because of a lack of vaccines, get sick themselves, be on their deathbed and fully understand the vaccine ended because of Trump, and still support him and blame the democrats
