2/2 For this, it would take me maybe an hour and a half to fix any mistakes I made and make sure the paint properly dries between coats
Depends on how detailed you go. Base coating in the right colors takes maybe half an hour. The more details, the longer it takes.1/2
I got one, myself. I can’t help but worry I’ll fuck up the paint job. You did beautifully!

Been meaning to get a squad or two of Custodes. How do they play on tabletop?
It makes it easier so you’re not twisting the model around, trying to stick your brush in between limbs at an awkward angle. (3)
And paint them separate. Once you’ve got each piece how you want, glue together with super glue, not plastic glue. (2)
If you’re a beginner, start with the torso, legs and head glued together. Glue the pauldrons, arms and weapons to each other. Prime and (1)
