Porsche swaps are cool, but you can easily get as much power out of a VW engine for less money and without having to work out a swap.

Old cars make lots of smells. What doesn't make smells is CO, which is odorless, so I'm pretty sure that's not it.

That doesn't make vaping not safe, it makes using unsafe vapes unsafe. It takes two minutes of googling to find out what the good ones are.
Not a marijuana reference. And I'd rather do neither and use a quality vaporizer like a Mighty or a Firefly.

I think you're confusing cannabis and tobacco pipes. Tobacco pipes you do not inhale, cannabis you do.
It's the carcinogens from combustion, not the heat, that's the problem with smoking.
