I think you may have a fundamental misunderstanding here. They want this to happen. This is what they want.And they can never realize they're wrong because it's ingrained into their personalities. It's not what they think it's who they are. Changing would mean that their ego fully breaks. That they admit that they are bad people. They can't and they won't.

This couple has made dozens of videos of the same dance to the same song and like, idk, my gut reaction to that is negative. It probably shouldn't be but it makes me sad about the quality of online entertainment.

For what it's worth the wax doesn't bother me. I'd consider myself an adventurous eater though so if that's not you it's ok to not enjoy it. Definitely worth trying in my opinion. If you eat enough it's pretty much like gum and you just spit it out no big deal.
