It sure sounds like you got scammed into what is called a vanity publisher, which are terrible, awful people who should be smacked. A true publisher wouldn't have you deal with your cover art. They would take care of hiring the artist to do your cover. You would just have to work on the writing fixes the true editor requested. Otherwise you don't do much about the book itself. The publishing company takes care of it.Sorry to hear it, but self-publishing really is a bitch. I hate it.

We typically only have about 45-50% of our population vote, but that has been for many, many decades. It used to be much lower. Something I don't ever see changing. Which is why most elections are relatively close.And no one was cheering on the FBI agent. The players didn't even know who he was, none of us did

People are mostly pacifists. A few are willing to show violence, but the vast majority of people in America aren't built for violence.
