REALLY want to know why Bukele won't return the guy? Fine. Here it is. He's almost certainly being paid BY THE PERSON to store them. That's the deal with our private prisons and I'm sure Bukele struck a juicy deal to take whomever Trump's administration wants to send without due process. No extradition, no legal representation contact, no communication AT ALL. If you can't hear the complaints, there aren't any. AOC needs private security, lawyers, and a judge with her at all times.

This move by Bukele is intended to give Trump cover for his DOJ's position that the order only said they had to let him in if he arrived here... not that they had to exert efforts to obtain his release.
I'm just waiting on the appeal by Garcia's lawyer to the SCOTUS to enforce their previous decision... which the White House seems not to understand.

I am almost certain he was killed in that prison, whether it was by the El Salvadorean gov't or the gangs he fled, it seems extremely unlikely he still lives... in which case the family should sue the gov't for a billion fucking dollars... this needs to be so expensive that no American gov't ever dares this shit again.
