I’m calling BS on this. I watched the whole interview. He picked it up and tried to undo the lid, he couldn’t and put it back. About 8 mins later he picks it up again and successfully undoes it and takes a drink. I don't doubt that it's the kind of thing he'd pull, but it seems to me more to me like he grabbed her bottle because his wasn't in immediate line of sight and he forgot about it. It looks like he tried to open it rather than tighten it, but he couldn't do it, so he gave up.
